Good news! (FNL)
Emily alerted me to some excellent news yesterday. Friday Night Lights has been renewed for a 13 episode season next year. I'll take 13 episodes, yes yes I will!
Now to all of you who STILL aren't watching. Rent the DVDs. Or download the two existing seasons. You won't be sorry.

BB9 - I am sooooo disappointed. If Natalie wins this whole thing I will puke.
I just cannot believe how unlikeable all these people are (save Sharon, perhaps). This season has been a dud.
And I've also heard that there is tons of stuff going on in the live feeds that isn't being shown on TV. Like worse than any prior season. Stuff that is not for TV. Interesting...

All you sci-fi geeks - Battlestar Gallactica returns tomorrow. It's on Sci-Fi in the states and Space in Canada. I already have my DTVR set (and I'm not even a sci-fi geek).

You know what is interesting to me? The popular shows I do NOT watch. Like American Idol. And Dancing With The Stars. I have no interest in either of those. Not at all. And yet just about everyone I know is watching them. A couple weeks ago I went out for lunch with a work group and I was the only person not watching American Idol. I was surprised that even the guy in the group is watching it. And has opinions about who should win and who shouldn't.
I'd much rather watch House Hunters. Or 48 Hours Mystery. I love those shows.

I completely agree re: BB9! I haven't heard much about the live feed stuff...sounds like it might be worth knowing about...haha.
And, I generally have zero interest in D with the Stars or American Idol either. I just hear them talk about them on the radio in the morning...along with the Bachelor. In my opinion: bo-ring.
Yep, FNL will starting airing new episodes in Jan. 09 from what Lainey says (she's a HUGE fan). SO excited. There can never be too much Riggins.
BB9 is actually amusing me. And I have a love-hate thing with James. I always pull for the lone wolf. Nat makes me laugh SO hard. Duhhhhhhhh. And that whole Matty-stalker thing is hilarious (esp. when they play the Psycho music).
I only watch American Idol to hear David A...that kid has a spectacular voice. Incredible. Hell's Kitchen is back on for season 4 so I'm watching that, too. I love my Gordon!
I don't want FNL. I live in Texas, and am exasperated at the obsession with football. I don't need to watch a show about it. :)
BB9 is so bad that Rich and I are not even watching it (and you know we're HUGE BB fans). We stopped watching around the 2nd or 3rd week, seriously.
On the other hand, we religiously watch American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Yes, Rich too.
I agree, if Nat wins this whole thing, I will barf. Literally barf.
As weird and as nutso as he is sometimes, I want James to win. I'm like clowngirl, I like the lone wolf.
Are you watching Survivor at all?
Grace and I are watching Dancing with the Stars and my whole family watches the Biggest Loser!
