New Grey's Anatomy Last Night.
Last episode for a long long time (maybe til next September - gasp!). Thoughts:
- I'm sorry but I cannot find any sympathy for Tucker. Your wife is a DOCTOR! Stop being such a cry-baby about it. Trying to finally start a conversation when she is running out the door - ridiculous.
- My heart just dropped when I saw that xray of baby Tuck.
- George and Izzy aren't still together, are they?
- Meredith being nice to Lexie - refreshing.
- Meredith and Derek breaking up AGAIN - this BETTER be the last time.
- I like Rose.
- What happened to Karev in his childhood?
Overall, a good episode. I will miss this show.
New Friday Night Lights episode tonight - wheeeeeeeeee!!!

I also thought last night was a redemption of sort for Grey's. First episode in quite some time that I thought "Okay, THAT'S why I love this show".
I just feel sad for the Bailey/husband situation. I agree that it's not Bailey's fault (I mean, c'mon, everyone knows how insane their schedule is) but at the same time, I would probably be throwing the same snit as her husband. It just makes me sad, because I know there are so many real life couples dealing with that situation.
No, George and Izzie are not together. I LOVED that scene where Karev pulled Izzie into the healer's room and was like "Here's your yellow light".
I also loved the scene where George was talking to his mom and saying "I don't know who I am anymore. I want to be that man again". I think any of us who feel that our life has fallen off track and wonder how can empathize with that.
Derek/Meredith/Rose. Ugh. Sigh. Rose seems like a nice enough chick, but c'mon. Meredith and Derek are supposed to be together, she just can't get her shit together. And my heart just aches for Derek because, oy, that poor guy. That relationship exhausts me.
I think I need to get more of a life.
First, FNL. I can't wait to watch this show tonight! I read in Michael Ausiello's TV Guide blog that there's going to be a really good tearjerker-of-a-scene with Riggins and Coach. Also, he said a female character leaves for good. I'm hoping it's coach's wife's sister (drawing a blank on names right now).
I loved GA last night. Ditto to much of what Tracey said, especially about Bailey's relationship and Izzy's yellow light. It also killed me as they were discussing little Tuck's xrays.
As for Meredith and Derek, for the first time ever, I was cheering that they broke up and hope that it's final. It killed me every time before this, but I'm soooo sick of her and him just hanging on. I wish they would change Meredith's storyline a bit. She's just the same old, same old. And he needs to move on. I didn't like Rose at first, but I did by the end of the show. I would be surprised if this is really the end of Mer/Der though.
I have to comment on GA's..... I'm sick and tired of Mer/Derrick. Mer is on my last nerve with all her whining and indecisiveness- yuck. Let's bring some fresh blood on board! As for baby Tucker- just wrench my heart out, won't you?! And I absolutely love Bailey. I think she might be my favorite character on the show. Not so sure if her marriage is gonna make it- so sad : (. Although I am probably more like the Bailey's husband, whininig and complaining that we hardly see our "daddy"/my husband!!!!!!
